how did your oh pop the question?

just wondered how your oh asked you to marry him/her? george asked me to marry him on my birthday last october.hed taken me to dublin for the weekend and got down on one knee in the middle of a busy restraunt to propose.took me ages to reply as i was crying so much and the poor guy thought i was going to say no

jamie asked me at a bus stop back in 99, i found out i was pg that week then he asked me! We are still not married

Mine asked on New Years Eve 2005/06. We waited for New year to come in then I went to the loo. When I got back the room was full of lit candles and he was on one knee! Getting married end of Feb this year. Not long to go now!

Jeff popped the question on our first date after dinner.

That was in 1993, we have four kids and a dog and the snap choices we make are always the best ones.

dave proposed to me in our living room in Feb 2001 (valentines weekend) and we tied the knot in july 2002.

not very romantic though as we'd been out and choose the ring the day before and i was just too impatient to wait for him to ask 'romantically' so eventually pestered him into popping the question - which he obviously knew the answer to as we'd already chosen the ring

He didn't, I did. still married 14 yrs later

he cooked us a nice meal got down on one knee and popped the question

we were laying in bed watching a film and DF asked me if i wanted it to last forever. I said yes and he took one of my rings (as he didnt have one - just a spur of the moment) and placed it on my engagement finger we'd only been together for 8weeks and 4 weeks later we found out i was pregnant with DD i got my engagement ring the following valentines day

I was 8 months pregnant with Alyssa and we were at the park.

We have two pc's in our house and we were both on MSN messenger.

DH asked me over the messenger lol!!

We had been togther 3 mths and we use to write each other little letters, i had to read them after he had gone home, one night i read his, and it sed shall we get engaged, so it wasnt a proper proposal!! anyway i sed yes!!

we havent asked each other and we never will.
marriage isnt my kind of thing or his im happy the way things are

i got engaged on xmas day this year. my whole family was here, i went upstairs to put keeley in her santa suit and came back down to open more prezzies with her. My daad had the camera rolling and me being naiive, thought he was just filming keeley. Then dave got down on one knee and popped the big question. i was gobsmacked and speechless, which for dave felt like an eternity. And of course i said yes, hehe

We'd been for a meal in town and OH told me to close my eyes. He led me blind for quite a while and when I opened my eyes we were at the spot we first decided to be together, there was a circle of candles all around us and he had a music player playing 'our song' and was down on one knee! very romantic, even though there were people walking past I didn't care. We knew we wanted a long engagement, I was only 20 at this point. 6 years later on my birthday last year he re-proposed with a new ring and we were married on fireworks night last year! Im now just over 3months pregnant so didn't take us long to get started on having a family

My DH proposed to me in York opposite the minster. We were sat on a bench taking it easy (or so I thought) the next thing I know he got out a ring and whispered into my ear 'will you marry me'!

We had only been seeing each other for 7 months but I said yes (after about 10 oh my gods!), we got married a year and a half later.

phill asked me to marry him on my 18th birthday at a suprise birthday party him and my mum and arranged for me it was a suprise walking into the party at 8 o clock i was just calming after that shock then at 10 o clock phill got the mic and asked me to go up onto the stage i thought he was gonna ask me to say thankyou to everyone for coming when he got down on one knee said all the soppy stuff lol and asked me to marry him i said yes then all my family and friends come up to me with happy engagement cards i couldnt belive it they all knew before me how sweet lol.
