That poor baby. That is a prime example of what happens when the Mother does not have good prenatal medical care. In most cases like this the Mother suffers with gestational diabetes. It is more than likely that the boy will have Type 1 diabetes his whole life.
That is simply to high a price to pay for the media to report on a birth if you ask me.

both links sa different things the bbc one says he was 17 lb and that the most heaviest baby born was in 18oo and something
the other link says the baby weighed 14lb and that the record is in 1955 ???
still a scaarey thing i hope mother and baby are both doing well

Well I was told Josh was going to be 11lb and that scared me but atleast mother and child are doing ok.
