A WEEK LATE BUT NEGATIVE PREGNANCY TEST

hello everyone,
i am new here there is something that is bothering me please help me with this if u can with ur replies..
.my period was due on 22nd july but it didnt come..i m 6 days late now..have done many pregnancy test all turn out to be negative.. actually i m using cheap test strips which i got from some website so i dont know how accurate they are..i dont have much pregnancy symptoms except for bit nausea and little tingling in my nipples and sometimes little poking pain near belly button and different cramps than period cramps..cramps are very light and sometimes occur on right pelvis area or left and thats it..having little breakouts on face too..but one thing i noticed that i thought i ovulated on period between 6-8 july and v were trying for baby at that time..at that time i noticed that my ovulation discharge was not so thin and watery like always...infact in the week of 17th july-21st july i had abundant watery and milky discharge lots and lots of it and now i m having normal discharge so its making me wonder that i m late cause my ovulation was late or i m pregnant can anyone please help me on this...i m planning to buy an expensive pregnany test tomorrow and test with it..has anyone encountered this kind of thing???please help me on this

If i were you i would buy a top of the range test tomorrow (or tonight!) and do it first thing in the morning. You do have a few of the early pregnancy symptoms. I did tests reaptadly before it came up positve evn though i kow i was pregannt, good luck, let us know how you get on !! xxxxx

top of the range tests arent any better than cheap ones!
I used a clear blue digital and got a FALSE +ve! but i have used cheap Boots & superdrugs tests when prg with DD and they came up straight away! even though by doc's dates i would of only been 2 weeks gone when i found out!!
i'd give it another couple of days and test again - then if nothing go to the doctors who will do a test for u.
My friend had 12 -ve tests before a blood test revealed she was pregnant - just didnt carry a lot of the HCG hormones need to bring the test up +ve while she was so early on - she ended up being about 11wks when it finally came up +ve!
It turned out that she didnt ovulate in the middle of the month last most people she ovulated towards the end of her cycle too!

Ok i'll wait for a week or so and then test again..now the thing is all the symptoms i had like mild cramping, poking pain near belly button, tingling nipples, e'thing has gone..i was really gassy too since last 2-3 weeks that has also subsided...so what shuld i conclude from all this??i mean if one is really pregnant does all this symptoms kind of disappear suddenly??????infact i m having mild temperature and headache since last 2 days and nothing else..any idea what all this means???and i'll probably wait till 4-5 aug and then test again cause as i think i ovulated late then by that time my periods should come..let me know what u guyz think and thanks for ur replies..

Hi i not long found out myself im preg, and i actually used the hcg test strips from the £1 shop they have 3 in a pack and i did all three in different samples of urine all three came bk positive, i rang the doc and i went to the pharmacy and got a test done there to confirm that also came back positive, i too ovulated on the 8th july and if all goes well baby born on 1st april, hope u get the result u want and all goes well. but thought i would post and say the cheap tests are just as good .GOOD LUCK

hey thanks all of you for replying..i did get my periods on 2nd Aug i suppose i ovulated late this month..and i happy to get my periods cause i had got MMR shot on 9th july and doc had told me not to get preg for a month after that so was quite worried when my period didnt showed up...now i m relieved ...thanks again all of u..
