Ok guys, I confess I mailed Staceyb about this before I posted cuz she knows ya'll better and would probably know if you would think I'm crazy or not. She said probably not Wink (not exact words but somethin like that) so, I am being lazy and copy and pasting the pm that I sent to staceyb. Here goes:

""Stacey, I am freaking out right now!! Aaralyn just woke up and I was standing there when she did and she rolled over and said in a sleepy voice, guess what I am today? and I said what and she said SHY Shocked (was she reading my mind when I was making that post or what!?)

I've only hinted about this in some posts (the ones about ghost stories and stuff) but from the day Aaralyn was around 1 yo, I've felt she was "different" as she got older she would say things that would later happen, she has very disturbing dreams, and has images of things during the day when she's awake even (example, she said one time, mommy, I just dreamed that our car cracked up, while she was wide awake, thank God my car has not cracked up yet Shocked Anyway, I think she is really a medium type person (knows and see's things we can't) Do you think I'm nuts?? I really want to post what she said when she woke up but people will think I'm nuts and making it up LOL. I figured I could atleast tell you ""

so there it is, don't think I'm koo koo... there are way more things she has done to really confirm my belief, but this one just really freaked me out, cuz she's never referred to herself as shy and she said it after I made that post Shocked

I believe in stuff like this (especially with the kid I have LOL) but am skeptical of people out there who try to claim to have gifts, some will do anything to make a buck... but after all the things Aaralyn has said that have actually happened I really believe. I started writing things down that she says, ever since the day when she was just 3 yo and she said to me out of the blue one morning "mommy, Kevin is very sad right now", Kevin is my exboyfriend who I am still good friends with...an hour after she said that he called me to tell me his father had passed away that morning... many things like that since Shocked

I guess thats kind of how I feel I do belive in ghosts I just need a lot of proof before I belive in specific examples! (Not that I'm suggesting you are nuts, please don't take it that way, I'm just an old cynic!) It does sound like Aaralyn has a real gift, I think sometimes kids are more receptive than adults to stuff like this.

don't worry I didn't take anything personally Bedhead... most people are sceptics and I think you'e right, alot of kids are more receptive and then it is kind of taught out of them.

And yea Jo, I am a little nutty sometimes Crazy LOL.. but that's a whole nutha topic (nuts in a good way though Very happy I think Confused )

Thanks Stacey... I think this was probably just coincidance this time because she is always pretending to be things (animals, alians, unicorns, ect...) so I guess today the thing to pretend to be is shy LOL.. it just took my breath out when she said those first words when she woke up, not long after the shy or not shy post.

Thanks for not thinkin' I'm too nuts all Razz Cuckoo Crazy

LOL I don't think your nuts either! Kids are very strange sometimes!

While pregnant with George, I had bought a new maternity top for work and wasn't sure when I put it on, whether it suited me or not. I had just decided to change it as Charlotte walked in. All she said was 'Your look pretty mummy'. It was as though she read my mind LOL! Obviously the top stayed on!

Of course the top stayed on! That's so sweet Love

and yep, I think she does have something special, I just hope I can handle it LOL I try not to discount as imagination so that if she does have a gift she keeps it. It is a little disconcerting when she says things to me like "mommy I had a bad dream last night that your head fell off" obviosly it hasn't fallen off Shocked , but sometimes I think she sees things that she doesn't understand and incorporates the people's faces she knows into these "visions" or whatever I should call them.
