Birth control pill question

Hello, all. I'm new to this forum. My husband and I have finally decided to work on trying to have a couple of kids. My question is: how true is the rumor about taking birth control pills will be damaging to your baby if you get pregnant shortly after? I've had several people at work tell me that it isn't a problem at all. Is there a waiting period before trying? Thanks! Smile

All I got told was to give it a month so my natural cycle came back and I could tell when I was ovulating, but as far as I know it doesn't harm the baby at all. I know a few people who became pregnant while on the pill including my mum and my MIL and they had healthy babies x

I got pregnant with both of mine immediately after stopping the pill and they are both strong, healthy children and I had healthy pregnancies and births.

from what i have heard, the hormones in the pill r not strong enough to harm a baby. many babies r conceived while they r taking the pill and they turn out just fine xxx
