Bumpage.....

Hi there...I just have a quick question.....when did you start getting your bump?

I am only 8 weeks yet i definately have a bump, but everyone around me says its too early and ive just put on weight. i dont see how this could be seeing as i only weighed 6st when i got pregnant and now have only put on a couple of pounds since. Also my tum was very toned and its definately not fat now!

hi i started to show about 8 weeks too buy the sounds of it you are of slim billed so you are more than likely to start showing early.

don't worry what people say every one is different just enjoy your little baby bump

All pregnancies are different hun. With my 1st I didn't show until I was 6 months but with my 2nd I was in maternity clothes at 11 weeks! People would stop me in the street at 4 months and ask how long I had to go, when I replied 5 months they were shocked and said they thought I'd have a month at the most!

I was super slim before my first and felt thick around the waist by about 2 months. I think some women carry fluid and that gives them a bump. If you are only 6 stone I'm sure you'll be in maternity clothes any time now and you'll be all bump by 20 weeks

well when i fell on with my first I was supper slim also, and i showed bout 8+ weeks and had a right pair to too hehe

Congratulations! I was slim built and started to get a little bump at 8 weeks too! Enjoy it! I loved my bump!

im not small hun and i was showing around that time it just depends on how elastic your skin is to when you show nothing to worry bout hun x x

I think i began to show also at about 8 weeks i was very thin so it popped out quite fast.Don't worry what people say hun we are all different size and shape's.

umm i didnt really get a noticable bump until i was maybe 16 weeks i was quite small throughout my pregnancy and was very lucky and still got to wear my own clothes throughtout the pregnancy and went straight back into them after i gave birth and within maybe 3-4months i had my virtually flat stomach back so i guess i was kinda lucky.

when i was preg with my last one i didnt start showing till i was nearly 5 6 months then i just shot out from no were.
with one of the others i was shpwing quite early on good luck and congrats xx

It seemed to take an age for my bump to appear, I just looked more podgy for ages. I would say until week 20ish I still could have been mistaken for being fat rather than pregnant. Now Im 26 weeks and I have a very defined bump and Im loving it!

If you were very slim to begin with I would imagine it would show more early on.

I didn't really start showing for ages - about 20+ weeks and even then you couldn't see unless you really tried - it wasn't until about 7 months that people started giving up their seats on the Tube!
