Aaralyn may be in our local paper!

We went to an outdoor concert Saturday evening and the local paper's photog was there taking pictures. He asked me her name and permission to have her pic in the paper and I said yes! It may not make it as he said he took lots of pics that nite, but if it does, I will definately post it, it comes out on Thursdays.

It's a great place where we went. Every other saturday they have different bands play. This time was an orchestra with some singers as well. Lots of older folks there but we had a good time and Aaralyn met a new friend named Camden and had a great time dancing, the 2 of them

They also did a tribute to a kid my town lost to the tragedy at Virginia Tech a few months ago. I live in a pretty small town and every one new this kid. I used to serve him coffee every morning his senior year of high school. He was (along with all that lost their lives) a really great and loved guy, who will be missed terribly. That didn't help the tearyness I've been feeling lately anyway, but it was nice that the band did that I think. RIP Dan O'neal

Thank you, it will be fun to send out copies to family and friends that aren't near us, if she makes it in.

And thank you for you words about Dan. It is a cruel world, but when chatting with people like you guys, all the way across the ocean, it reminds me that this is a great world too... we just have to all work on making it better for our kids.
