Well I have just checked the weather, its raining all week here

Gary is meant to be doing my nan's gardening today, that's off, he is doing it Thursday, but its meant to be rain then too

If its raining, its being held in the school hall

I hope it works out for them, girls! Gosh, you guys really are gettin' alotta rain huh! It's been like that in other parts of the US but still pretty nice here in the north east. Today's a bit chilly compared to last week (low 70's) very nice like this. I'm wishing for some sunny days for you all soon

LOL, yep, I am. I like it here so I haven't really bothered checking out any other parenting sites yet.

It's nice today in RI (in the 70's and no humidity) compared to last week (in the 90's and very high humidity). New England summers are pretty nice, starts getting hot the end of June and usually starts to cool down in the end of Sep. It varies though in between. Winters vary too. Last winter we had a total of 9 inches of snow all winter, 2 years before that we had record setting snow falls, so ya never know what to expect.

I spent time in England when I was 12, I remember it being cloudy and chilly and we went to the beach on a 60ish degree day and I was cold and my friends thought it was funny... this was in August when I went.

Yep, Alaska actually... My father was the youngest original homesteader on record when they opened up the land to homesteaders. My mom's family moved up there when she was around 12. Left there when I was 3, grew up in Maryland and ended up in Rhode Island 6 years ago.

Well, it depends on where you are in US and what you like to do and see. There's so many different areas and different cultures so yea, it's a pretty good place, from what I've seen of US so far. Could use some improvement in many areas.... maybe when we get Bush outta here it will be an even better place (woops, did I type that out loud )
