Got loads to lose !!

Hi all,

Ive been trying to lose weight for ages, i was doing really well to start with but now i seem to have lost motivation. and i still have 52lbs to lose Shocked


Anyone got any tips on how to keep motivated?

Also, im scared if i lose weight that i will be left with saggy and droopy skin all over, anyone know how to prevent this.

Hi Katie

A few of the ladies on here are doing a weight loss together virtually, we just give each other a kick up the bum when you start losing the will to carry on!!

With regards saggy skin, I have heard that it is best to lose the weight gradually and not too quickly. This way it gives your skin the chance to keep up with the loss and get toned.

Do you do any exercise during the week (apart from looking after the kids!!) Going out for long walks can help burn off the calories.

Good luck with it all and keep us informed of how you go - better still get a ticker to add on the forum and then you'll be really pleased with yourself when you start heading towards that goal weight.

Yes i do do quite a bit of walking. Jordans school is a 20 minute walk away, and its all uphill, a very steep hill may i add. I can see and feel weight coming off my bum and legs. But my belly is just stAying the same.


I have an ab-roller too which i used to use alot. Maybe i should get it out of the cupboard and start using it again

alis378 is right gradual weight loss will stop your skin sagging too much. ALSO remember that cardio exercises(those that get you sweaty and heart racing) will burn the fat off but weights and resistence work tone you up so try to do both. Good luck,keep us updated

im also tryin to loose the pounds. Wink

i lost 3 st on weightwatchers 3 yrs ago ,but when i stopped goin i put 2 and a half of it back on again.im going back to ww on monday ,and hopefully my willpower will come with me ,LOL Very happy
