Any helpful suggestions...?

Hi everyone, I'm after any good ideas you have as I'm trying to get organised in advance. My DD will be 4 soon and as part of her party I want to have something that each child can make or decorate to take home with them. I've concidered boxes they could keep their treasures in, beaded necklaces, fabric painting on t-shirts, puppets etc. The thing is to buy proper kits for each child seems to cost alot of money so can any of you suggest ideas which would be cheap and suitable for pre-school age. Thanks

princess hats&wands >>>>paper,card and glitter and another good idea is what i found really good at a recent party was they took a picture of them all when they first came and she printed them off puter and put in party bags
