first words

What was your kids first words and how old were they when they started trying to talk? My little one is 9 months and can say some strange things.today he said doctor .but his first word was momma

Bless... how exciting! 9 mths is early and doctor?? maybe DD/DS? already knows what DD/DS wants to do when they grow up!!!

My DD, Emma started at 10 months.... strangely her first word was Pigeon!!!! (we used to watch the birds from her bedroom window!) She then soon started saying Mummy, Daddy, Birdie, Hiya etc
She never did the baby talk thing which was wierd? She just seemed to wake up one day and start saying real words

mine was the usuall dada they all have said that first now though my youngests fav word is look he woke his dad up the other day with a toy by smaking him and saying look look i can tell u his dad wasnt impressed lol
