My son walked out on me nearly 4 weeks ago and I've not seen or spoke to him since.
He has no respect or cares about me at all and it all came to a head nearly a month ago. He was playing online with his friends and was shouting and swearing,so I came in his bedroom and asked him to stop and he told me to get out and didn't care. About 5 minutes later I heard a bang and I went upstairs and he'd throw his controller at the wall. I switched the Internet off and then he went to throw his telly but I stopped him, he pushed me against the wall, then I sat down on his bed and he tried to suffocate me with his quilt, I got away and then my partner came in and shouted at my son, as he heard the commotion and was concerned for my safety. My partner told my son to have some respect for me and said he'd had enough of the swearing in the house then walked out, then I walked out to calm down. I left my son for 10 minutes then I heard the front door shut, my son had walked out and got his dad to pick him up. Then 10 minutes later they returned, his dad asked if my partner had shouted at his son and I said 'yes', he said he had no right to do this and said he would knock his block off, then drove off. He then told me he was going to call the police, social services and his solicitor, but heard nothing from them, I wonder why. None of this waw my fault and I've has no apology from my son.
I miss my son and the last few weeks have been heart wrenching, I only get the odd text if he wants something and didn't get to see him on his birthday recently, only a thanks for his presents I dropped off.
Tried to message him to meet for a coffee after school, but so far he's not replied.
I'm not sure what to do anymore and his dad isn't helping the situation.
