Baby constantly moving / not sleeping

Hi all,

Our little boy is 6 1/2 months old and since about 4 months old he cannot stop moving his arms and feet, day and night. He wakes himself up every hour or so during the night flailing his legs around and during the day he bounces his leg constantly. He's happy in general and is developing well weight wise but is absolutely ruining us at night time waking himself up constantly, flails his arms around even when breastfeeding and during the day bounces around constantly like he's hyped up on sugar! Has anyone else had an experience like this and did they manage to solve it anyhow?
