My nephew is 14 months old is not walking. He can stand up. But he always seems to want to be picked up instead. He would cry when he isn't picked up. He likes the baby walker. I was already walking at 10 months old my mother said. Should we stop picking him up?
According to me or as per my personal experience don't consider walking a problem at all unless they reach 18 months.
My second kiddo is almost 15 months and just this last week started walking around in spurts of 6, 8, 10 steps at a time. Totally normal. I also notice her understanding and responding recently to a few simple commands but I have no idea what her actual vocabulary might be yet. I haven't been worried about it. My first is a smart cookie, so I figure little sister will catch on when she wants to. 12-18 months is a huuuge developmental period both physically and cognitively.
