Can it be real?

I took a test Monday that came up 3+ weeks pregnant. Since then, so have 5 more.

Saw GP today who just said they'd get in touch with midwife to get a scan.

My periods have been off since I had my coil out in October so it's a guess at about 8 weeks.

I still can't believe it's right despite the peeing, sore boobs, huge nipples, crying, bloatedness and always being tired.

So I booked a private scan for tmw and am terrified they'll say I'm not and then something else will be wrong with me. I just can' stop worrying.

Can you get false positives?

Hi Rachel, to me it seems to be positive provided the days that you mentioned and also all your symptoms are also pointing towards a positive. In my case, I also check my pregnancy at least 10 days past my periods and it gives and correct result. But it’s good that you took an appointment for the scan. I think you don't need to worry. These tests are usually very reliable. You also have many symptoms. Considering all your symptoms and the tests I'm hopeful it'll be a pregnancy
Good going with the appointment though. It is always better to be more sure. Also, you can get some advice about the supplements you need to start during pregnancy like folic acid. Stay positive!
