Going camping. Help using boil bags.

We're going camping the weekend after next and I'm looking for some camping tips. I heard that you can make good meals using boil bags. Has anyone tried doing it before and can you share the recipes?

I got an omelette recipe online which I'll be testing later. My boil bags just came and I haven't tried them before. Have you tried this particular brand before?

Most of the time we just cook like at home, we have a tiny gas oven or in certain areas we use the fire place. It's very special to cook outdoors.

When you think it helps you try them out and tell us about it. We also just cook easy meals or have a bbq

That depends on how many days you're going to spend during the hike. It would be better to take more food if you're planning a 3+ day trip. We have special camping cookware for such occasions, here's the review about it, it consists of portable gas oven, a kettle, pan and bowls. You don't actually need to carry all the pieces, just pack it according to the amount of food you will have.

We tend to take our portable gas stove and cook with our ridgemonkey pan - honestly the best thing i've ever purchased
