Doulas and delivery

Did anyone use a doula for their birth? One of my close friends did and really enjoyed the experience - she liked the coaching and calmness that her doula provided. My husband did a great job coaching me so I didn't end up getting a doula to attend my birth, but it seems to be becoming more and more common!

What are your thoughts on doula services?

I did not use one because I attended antenatal classes at the hospital weekly; were I was registered and most of what to be expected was taught to us.
I also watched videos on YouTube, did so much research and did some breathing and kegel exercises. It all went well and I don't think I would need one for my next baby.
