My third daughter has her 1st birthday coming up on March 31. Here First birthday's are to be celebrated in a big kind of way. I am thinking for her I will be doing a tweety theme. My eldest has Hello Kitty and my second daughter got Minnie Mouse. Any great ideas food wise that is happy in my wallet wise? I have a big family so I can't do little get together yummy plates but save more on the feed the many full plates. I am having trouble appreciating the time I have because I am being bombarded by alot lately with my pregnancy coming soon and working from home while caring for them I can't really think straight on the matter. Thanks for suggestions.

That's good Akiram13, your baby is going to be a big girl. My son turned 3 today but no party or fun fair; just a family outing later in the day.

My suggestions for your daughter's birthday party dishes are:
1. Chocolate cup cakes
2. Pizza puff pinwheels
3. Mini sausage rolls
4. Birthday biscuits
5. Sandwiches
6. Fruits
7. Bread-sticks
8. Chicken nuggets
9. Ice cream
10. Smoothies
I hope this helps.

We have a large family and always do large parties for birthdays. My go to for food has always been a make your own Mexican buffet like thing. We have tortillas, taco shells and tortilla chips that you can fill any way you want. We have taco meat, refried beans, cheese, queso, salsa, tomatoes, onions, sour cream, hot sauce, and lettuce. My grandmothers and my mother usually bring a couple of the toppings or the plates which helps me not pay as much. For drinks I bring a cooler full of water bottles and everyone can bring their own drink if they don't want water.

I always look on Pinterest for party food decorating ideas, especially if it's a themed party. How cute are these Tweety cake pops?

They do look a little bit finicky, though - I don't know that I would have the patience to decorate them like that! But they're SO adorable!
