How far along were you when you found out you were expecting

I was pretty regular with my periods so I found out that I was pregnant at literally 4 weeks along. I've had friends though who had very irregular periods who didn't find out they were pregnant until their second trimester! And I've even read stories in the news about people not finding out until they were actually giving birth! Amazing!

How far along were you when you found out you were pregnant?

Both times I knew right away. With one I felt the implantation cramps, it was like my period was coming but they were one week early, and it turned out I was pregnant. Then with the other I suddenly felt different, I just felt filled with joy, it was really weird. I remember thinking, something is different, it's not like me to be so happy for no reason!! And 1.5 weeks later I did miss my period and found I was pregnant again.

I find it funny that my step-aunt always knew I was pregnant before I did. I have always been bad in keeping track of my menstrual cycle. Since she has always taken care of me she has kept a keen eye on my well being and would confront me asking if I was pregnant. I of course didn't know and she then would ask th we magical question of when was my last cycle. Hehehe. But no more than a week of a missed cycle and I would find out that I was pregnant. Thanks to my lovely aunt of course if not for her I would probably be clueless til my second trimester as well.

Well, I already knew deep inside that I was pregnant even with the first month of my delayed period. But I was in denial at that time and thought to myself that maybe my period is really just delayed. Of course, with symptoms like nausea and bulging of the tummy, it is hard to dismiss that I maybe pregnant.

It was only when I was four months pregnant that I really knew and accepted it since we went to an OB-GYN already. Don't get me wrong, I love my son but I was still in school at that time so I know I was about to get into a lot of trouble. Anyway, everything's okay now and we're holding up quite well.
