Yelling during Delivery

It is common for women to yell when they are in delivery. Some yell their husband's names or the name of their baby daddy; others call for God to come down and save them.

I was induced and did not have much strength to yell, being in labor for 17 hours; I just bit my teeth into my husband's jeans and shook with pain.
How did you deal with pain in the delivery room?

I am not a yeller in the delivery room. I think this is because I have a high tolerance level when it comes to pain. Although for my seccond daughter it was so hard to bring her out that I slipped an 'ouch! ' out. Hehehehe..

Would you believe I never even thought about this until I read your question... I guess that means I mustn't have been a screamer or I would definitely remember. I know the pain was intense and so much more than I ever imagined, but as far as I know, I just groaned loudly with contractions and kept talking to hubby through the whole thing.

Seventeen hours... oh dear! My labor was just about 6 hours and truthfully I can't even imagine 7. Yes, I surely do know that I was very lucky!

Oh gosh, yes, I was screaming! Cussing too - I was in a lot of pain! I hadn't really done much preparation beforehand for an unmedicated birth (some people I know did classes and stuff!) but I figured I could do it. It was tough though! When my daughter was at the point where she was crowning though, all I could muster was a weak "it hurts!" because I was exhausted by that point!

On my first baby, I was yelling for like hours and hours. I've been in labor for 12 hours.. my cervix is small enough and I almost got no fluid inside.. still the doctor says.. you can still have a normal delivery.. what the? Good thing they decided for me to undergo CS.. I don't want to remember the pain..It was really excruciating.
