I recently decided to start working from home when my second baby was born. I tried many different things online, mainly surveys and click jobs and mini-task jobs, but nothing really seemed to pay something decent for the amount of time I spent on these sites. After countless hours of searching for a better opportunity, I eventually found a site where you teach English to foreign students online. The site's name is Cambly. They have students from all around the world phone in to connect to a tutor to practice their English skills and to learn new skills as well. Some students like to have a proper lesson (that's where I will read an article with them and help them correct their mistakes) and other students just want to chat freely and you must correct the mistakes they make while they are speaking.
How much you make is up to you, Cambly pays $0.17 per minute. You apply to be a tutor and my application took about 24 hours to be approved. When you are signed up and approved you can start tutoring immediately. But I do suggest you read every tab in the Tutor's Guide tab on the page. It is really informative and helped me a lot.
You can work anytime and anywhere you are available. As long as you have a computer/ laptop and a stable internet connection. Unfortunately, you can't tutor using your phone.
I've been doing this for a week now and I've made $88 already. I have only been tutoring for about 9 hours in total for the week (Saturday to Saturday). They pay every Monday via PayPal if your balance is $20 or more at 12 am that paying Monday.
I am really enjoying it! Go take a look to see if it is something you would like to do. Just Google Cambly, or follow this link https://www.cambly.com/en/tutor
