Introductory post

Well Hullo there! I'm Jeanette but to be fair I mostly get called nets 'cause it's just easier! I come from Merseyside or to be more specific the Wirral peninsular. I'm 26 and I'm the mum of Daisy who is 4 and currently attending Nursery. I'm unemployed because when I was pregnant with Daisy and still with her dad I decided that it would be best for her to have a parent around fully untill she goes to proper school. It's not an easy choice to make but I made it and I stick by it even though monetary wise it's difficult.

I spend a lot of my time alone because most of my friends are childless and only really want to socialise in a bar or restaraunt of an evening which is usually after Daisy's bedime. The only good friend I had who has a child recently moved to south wales so I'm pretty lonely now. I do go and visit my parents a lot as they live about a 10 minute walk from me, but I think I probably annoy them, lol. I suffer from social and general anxiety as well as depression which makes it difficult to make friends which is probably one of the reasons that I haven't managed to make friends with any of the other mums from Daisy's nursery although I do try to chat to them whenever I have the confidence too.

Generally though I'm not unhappy with my lot, I have a beautiful daughter and although the evenings stuck in on my own are lonely I'm quite happy to entertain myself with TV or the internet. I have fun taking Daisy out and teaching her the names of all the local birds and wildlife, and we absolutaly ADORE going to Chester Zoo whenever we can afford it because Daisy is obsessed with animals. I also love taking my camera out with us and taking pictures of everything, mostly boring stuff that I find beautiful. And I Love Comedy so I watch as much of that as possible and Daisy also has a brilliant sense of humour.

I can't really think of anything else to say so for this first introductory post thats it for now!

Nice intro Nets! Welcome aboard, I'm glad you've jumped right in there and got posting!
