For concentration and brain development.
Our son has problems with concentration and behaviour, at the present time he is under observation and awaiting diagnosis of possible A.D.H.D. As he is only five and a half he is still to young for medication and to be truthful I'm not sure I really want him to have it anyway.
In my search for something a little more natural that he could take, we stumbled across these Efalex Chewies which contain an advanced combination of Omega-3, Omega-6 and evening primrose oil, they are sweet smelling and a purple colour which makes them more appealing to children to take but are free from sugar, gluten and wheat, Milk and yeast derivatives and artificial flavours, colours and preservatives. Our son says "I likes it when they burst blackcurrant on my tongue", and as of yet we have never had a problem in giving them to him to take in fact he will usually remind us! They come in boxes of thirty and we have found that Boots the chemist sell them at £4.99 a box or always seem to have them on an offer of buy two get one free so you are looking at about three months worth for £9.98 which we feel is really good value. We have our son on two capsules a day now due to his age and we began these about 18 months ago. We have to be truthful that when on only one capsule we did not see very much change but when we increased him to two capsules then there was a change for the better, we appear to see a reduction in his impulsive behaviour and a bit more thinking time before reaction. This is no miracle cure but it does just take the edge off the intensity of the behaviour and give you a little more time to think. We have noticed on a couple of occasions when we have run out and money has been short that with in a week of not taking these the intensity of behaviour does undoubtedly increase. On the same note if you have a child who does not experience these problems then a little more brain power cant be a bad thing!
