If you prepare all ready on the table cut up fruits and veggies, kids will munch on them when they come home from school and be less likely to constantly ask you what they can eat, I'm hungry mum what can I have. Not only that, they will fill themselves with these healthy snacks and be less hungry and less apt to ask for snacks.
You can also prepare rice cakes or whole wheat bread with tuna, cheese, veggies...
