Sticker chartsSticker charts are brilliant especially for ages 3+. It's a great encouragement and you could also put a sheet of stickers in your bag for when you're out shopping. Make your own rules up, a sticker for every 5 mins of a certain type of behaviour. It's a great visual reminder for them.By Annalise on 04-Jan-2007 630 people have seen this parenting tip. We made it together and she coloured in the picture heself. She started saying "I need a wee can I have a sticker"! DTJ said: We did the same for potty training. We also had a surprise box. To start with after 2 stickers our child had a surprise then after 3 then every 5 stickers. The surprises were only small things like hair clips. As soon as she was dry all day we stopped the chart with no problems...She was dry all day and all night in just 9 days. | Search our parenting tips |
