Having a scan next week at 15 weeks - can they tell boy/gir?

Hya I am a newbie on here....

I have two boys from a previous marriage and would really love a little girl - I am 13 weeks and due my first official dating scan at 15weeks (I had a private scan at 10 weeks)...

Can they tell the sex at 15weeks?? will they tell if I ask?

Depends on the baby's position. I found out at 12 week scan with one of mine

I have heard that they can tell what sex the baby will be earlier now though im not sure how early. when I was pregnant both times I had to wait untill I was 15 weeks.

they couldnt tell me at the scan - not very patient - said I would have to wait till 20 week scan - should I pay for a private gender scan - apparantly they can tell you at 16 weeks??!!

Well the difference between 16 weeks and 20 weeks is not long to wait really is it?! Either way you will have plenty of time to prepare.

I know and you are right - but I went ahead with the private scan anyway and she told me 'im pretty sure its a little girl' so I am over the moon but now worried she may be wrong - and trying not to get too excited hahahaha - I realise im sounding a bit ridiculous but having a little girl is all I wanted and the pregnancy was unexpected and not planned at all so I thought it would never happen for me - and I adore my two little boys so I am worried that I will build myself up and be disappointed........
