Negative pregnancy test but missed period?

Hi, I am 4 days late for my period and I have taken 3 pregnancy tests all of which were negative. I am NEVER late so I was wondering, do you think it could be too early for the tests to read?

There's a chance the pregnancy hormone levels aren't very high yet and so you're not getting a positive result BUT at the same time 4 days late could just be one of those things. I'd wait until you are 7 days late and then test again if you still haven't come on, if you still get a negative get a blood test from the doctor.

I tested the day of my period with my little one and it was negative but took another one a week later and positive! I would leave it maybe 7 days then test again! Good Luck
