Recuperating after varicose vein op!

I went in for day surgery to have varicose veins stripped out of my legs

Am feeling a bit sore today but will be glad when I can finally wear skirts and shorts again in the summer now that my unsightly legs look better - well,after all the bruising has gone anyway.

At the moment they are strapped up in coloured bandages, one red and the other blue. Have got to go to the nurse soon to have these taken off and support stockings put on instead.

I cant drive for about a week so am a bit stuck so Tesco will have to deliver my shopping for me this week

Its nice being waited on but am so used to doing stuff all day that I cant get used to it. MIL will be over soon to do some ironing for me and make my and my boy lunch.

Will probably spend the next few days on here

I dont usually get to get on here much during the day (childminding stops me) so tend to come on first thing in the morning and evenings. I really like this site though as it is so much friendlier than others that I know of
