Hmm? In that case i am not sure. I think you would have to get a new car if you all wanted to go out together as the more practical solution. Or as a make do for now. One of the adults would have to squeeze between car seats in the back and the age 5 would have to go in front on booster seat.

Is it possible to have a three point belt fitted in the middle? I'm not sure how much it would cost, but more than likely cheaper than another car! Hope you get it sussed.

The only other thing I can think of is putting one child in the front and having an adult in the lapbelt, but could be a bit squished?

In a lot of cars you can get a full seat belt installed in the middle back, if you can't which I doubt will be the case you can put a car seat in th front, but remember you will have to remove the air bags, you can't simply turn them off as the off function isn't reliable. You could get a booster seat, but theyre not very safe, especially between two hard car seats.

Hi JOJO, i dont know if this helps but over here you can buy a harness that bolts into the back of the back seat. The harness goes over the childs head then you thread the lap sash through it. I know over here they are about $50. We have to have our children in booster's with a harness untill the age of seven or when they reach a certain weight not sure what your regulations are over there?.
Hope you find something that works for you.
