Question about pregnancy test results

OK peeps, I can't believe I'm in this forum asking for advise on this subject but here goes.... I've been spotting for about 4 days now, expecting my period to start any time and it just hasn't so, we took a pregancy test yesterday with a very faint positive result (1 bright line, 1 faint line) then we took another one with only 1 bright line as the result. Decided to get a digital one to be sure, the first one I took said "yes" the next one said "no". I'm pretty sure, almost positive that I am (lots of other "symptoms" but just curious if any of you have had similiar results early on with pregnancy tests???

OH and yes, I AM IN SHOCK!!!!!

You could try leaving it a few days and testing again but a positive is a positive. Xxx

I've not experienced anything like that but why not leave another few days and try another digital one and see what happens. At worst, can you get one done at your docs? I know in the UK they take about a week to give you a result but at least you'd know for sure if the shop bought ones are giving you odd readings.

Also, are you doing the test first thing in the morning when the old preggers hormones are highest?

oh my gosh thats brilliant babe i dont no what to say apert from congrats a dr once told me though u can have a neg result and be preg but u cant have a pos and not be preg so sounds like u are hunni huge cngrats babe x

Just got a 3rd positive result... I'm pregs! Good day to go to the beach LOL!!! I'll be here looking for support frequently now that I have proper internet again. Won't be making any announcement of FB for a while yet just to make sure things go ok first. Wow, I'm gonna be a mom at 41! A few of us preggers right now eh????

Thank you all.... most of you know now. No baby meant to be for us. Seems it was probably a twin pregnancy, one miscarried, one ectopic. Having a shot of methatrexate on Monday and hopefully that will take care of it or they will have to do a scopic procedure to see if they can find it in my tubes, if not, then partial or full tubal removal. I hope the latter is not the case!
