How long before they do tests?

Hi,

I'm new here and could do with some advice.

Me and my husband have been TTC for 13 months. Think our lack of success may be partly due to the fact that I've had lots of abdominal surgery for a bowel condition, although I know lots of factors could be at play.

How long would they expect you to be trying before they start doing tests/investigations to see if there's anything mechanical wrong (in my case probably blocked tubes due to scar tissue)?

To say I'm frustrated each time I get AF would be putting it lightly Frustrated

Please, any pointers on this would be appreciated!
Thanks

For me, your case is too complicated,

It really needs medical care.

As for your dilemma. If it's really for you, you'll surely have it no matter how long would it take for you to finally have it.

hi, if you go to your doctor now they would start doing relivant tests, they do when couples have been trying for at least 12 months.

Make an appointment hun there's no harm in speaking to them.

Iv gone through the process so if you have any questions feel free to ask Smile
