Counting down the days

Well Saturday is nearly here. I can't believe how long I've had to wait to do this. I did a cheeky little deal with my Tesco Clubcard points, and have now got a free track day down at Thruxton Race Circuit. I get to drive a Porsche Cayman, Aston Martin and then a formula Renault around the track.

A great couple of hours un-environmentally friendly, petrol fumed fun!! I can't wait. Apparently I'll end up with a DVD of my driving at the end of it as well.

Next I'm looking for somewhere to try rally driving. If anybody knows anywhere please let me know.

sounds like a fab day

Had an absolutely amazing time even thought it was raining. Was suprised at how well the cars gripped even in those conditions and how quickly you learned to drive them quickly (well at least some of us did). Would have been great if there had been a group of us instead of me by myself.

I am so jealous. Sounds like a good day out.
