We went to see the new version of A Christmas Carol last night- oh dear...
While they were clearly pushing the boat out with the animation, the film (a PG, but I think it could have done with a 12!) was way too scary for an 8 year old! The 3D bits emphasised the frightening parts very well and quite regularly I was concerned that Gemma would be having a nightmare when she went to bed last night- she was ok though.
On the way back, Jezz was reading reviews of the film on his iPod and it was getting a heavy slating.
If you want to take the kids to see a good Christmas film, check out Nativity instead as this Disney one is a nasty one!
