Awful next door neighbour

I have an 8 year old daughter and a 9 year old son. We live next door to a boy of 10 years old who steals from us, has spat in my daughters hair, is abusive towards my son every time he sees him and tonight has soaked my daughter with a water bomb. Although i have expressed my concerns to his mother she just won't discipline him and she even encouraged him to hide and keep my daughters new ball when it went over the fence last week. I just don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

Are you in a rented property or do you own it? If it is rented and you know who there land-lord is you can report them to the land-lord. I know it sounds extreme but they have the power to make them start behaving in an appropiate mannor and they can also serve them with an ASBO. Keep a detailed record of all incidences, including time and date and this can be used in the future for legal advice. I had to do a similar thing with my old neighbours they got evicted due to there behaviour and there young children's behaviour. Hugs to you and your children and I hope you can get the issue sorted

aw thanks for replying. No both mine and my neighbours properties are owned but it's a good idea that i sould make a diary of the incidents incase it becomes more seroius.
