Still trying to conceive - HELP!!!

Hi all,

I'm new to all this so here goes!

We have been trying to conceive for 4 years now. I have a son aged 16, who was a total (but wonderful) surprise.

However, since my husband and I got married weve been trying, and trying...

So, after 4 years, hundreds of scans, blood tests, laparoscopy, one round of IVF, another of natural cycle IVF, the specialist mentioned that they couldnt find my left ovary. I have no other information!

When I had the laparoscopy 4 years ago I was told by the specialist that the pain i was having was all in my head and that i should just go home and make babies!

Now, im sitting here recovering physically and emotionally from the last attempt of IVF, which hasn't gone any further this time than taking my egg and trying to fertilise it.

I feel like a physical and emotional wreck. Can anyone give me any advice, or even hope?
