One boob better than the other?

OK, here I'm confused. I've noticed of late that Sophie seems to get more out of my right boob than my left. How do I know you ask? Well, firstly she 'gulps' far more if she's on the right and when she comes off the milk is flowing out still. Secondly, when I express after she's gone to bed or first thing in the morning, my right boob is great and my left is jolly hard work, sometimes getting almost nothing from it compared to 4oz from the right Shrug

Can you actually have a one-sided milk supply? Cuckoo

I'm beginning to struggle to keep up with her at the moment as she's on the 4 month growth spurt still, although she still sleeps through but wants feeding every 1 1/2 hours during the day Scared

Your boobs only replace milk that has been removed generally, so as less is being suckled from your left breast that may be why, you can get these very soft little tubes that attach to a bottle which you fill with milk, then the tubes attach to your nipples. Then you get the baby to suckle the breast, so she is getting milk but at the same time stimulating the nipple to encourage let down which then allows milk to flow from the breast until the amount gets larger and larger, until you don't need the tubes anymore. They are designed for giving medicine for breast feeders. I so should of been born with boobs.

LOL!

Never heard of those tubes Samuel. Could I get them somewhere like Boots? Sounds like a good idea. I'm trying to express more from the left boob to increase flow and getting Sophie on that one more but I kind of give up with it after a while if you know what I mean.

Any idea where you can buy them? I've never seen anything like them that I can remember.

No idea, you could probably google them and find an online store, I don't know if you can rent them from hospital/get a prescription.
