What are you giving to you DP and what you want?? I don't know what I'm giving....give suggestions please, but I'd like a present. It doesn't need to expensive but it would be romantic if I got a gift and we could eat out.

We're pretty skint at the moment so we've agreed not to get each other anything, but we're going to snug up for the evening together-no computer!!! No mobile phones!!! etc, and watch a film coz we actually rarely do that. This will be our 10th Valentine's day together, wow! that seems ages!!!

We celebrated the Welsh saint of love this year for the first time, it seemed a bit strange really as it was in January, I got Frank a gig ticket and he got me a book I wanted, we're rubbish at getting surprise presents.

Whats he into?

I heard about that on Radio 1 the other week, I feel stupid for not knowing about it 'til now though! When is that exactly?

I don't know what I'm going to get for Jez yet but will probably have a quiet night in- we are going to Weston/Bath for weekend in March which is kind of meant to be a romantic getaway before baby arrives, but I will definately be making big fuss of him for his 1st Father's day in June, although my 2 get him cards and gifts anyway.

We got each other silly stuff last year like Valentine's day crackers and soft toys, etc.

Well we normally both get a card each and i normally buy something very small (last year it was rather Naughty LOL) he normally gets me a bunch of flowers after work (the dregs left in sainsbury's!) LOL. Woul'dn;t have it any other way now though! Happy Xx

I completely agree it is way to commercialised (SP?) though. Really is w waste of money. Tbh i always think it is much more romantic to receive a gift/flowers or a surprise meal etc when it isn't valentines. That way you know it is meant and not just because you are told to do it!! Xx

We don't really celebrate Valentines, I prefer to do something instead on our anniversary.

I find it all too commercial now, I can prove my love in other ways Wink

We also celebrate our anniversary over valentines day but we do get each other a card and "sometimes" we go out to dinner.
