pay cut at work at 21 weeks pregnant

I am 21 weeks pregant and work turned round last week and said with the recession i need to take a pay cut

I have worked there over 6 six years and feel that my pregnancy has alot to do with it. Of course they say not.

They have me over a barrel really as i will want my 9 months maternity paid leave and holiday owed. I called acas and my work can do this.

Its a time for all of us and some have it alot worse by loosing jobs which must be awful. Its just come at such a rubbish time, mind you when is a good time?

Has anyone else come across anything like this?

well lets put it this way i only work 2 days a week and my salary will be £200 less so yes they are

Oh no Paula, that's terrible. What a blummin cheek. I can't believe it is legal to do this Obviously you are the perfect candidate for them to do this too as you are only part-time and are going on maternity leave in a few months. I really feel for you hun. Somebody needs their bum booting (trying to be polite!) LOL.

What a rotten thing to do to you at this point in time I does smack of you being a 'suitable candidate' doens't it. So sorry to hear this.
