pet hates!!!!!!!!

what things really annoy you?


I don't like:

ignorant people

people who swear infront of their kids

People who eat with their mouth open (I don't need to hear or see what they are wating!!)

People who text talk in emails to me

People with the cold who leave their filthy tissues just lying around

People who walk out of toilets and don't wash their hands (and worse when they do it and they have kids with them!!)

I am sure there is more but I feel better getting that off my chest this week

edited to say: please don't tak offence at something someone has posted it is just their opinion and everyone is entitiled to that, and people have their own reasons for thinking and doing the things they do

Snobs in general

Lack of manners, such as using a phone at the dinner table, or leaving the table without seeking permission

Nose picking, wiping or blowing in public, I don't want your snot germs!

People that choose to put their children into day care or get a nanny instead of raising their little ones themselves.

When you wake up in the night and you're really comfy and warm, then you realise you need a wee and the trip to the bathroom is always so cold, plus by the time you get back in bed he/she has taken up your space so you have to either deal or shove.

People that don't pick up dog poo.

I have a few that I'll list when I have hours, but I didn't want to say Samuel, unfortunately some of us have to put our children in day care in order to be able to work and keep a roof over our heads and food in our bellies and warmth coming from the heaters. I'm a single mom who chooses to work instead of live off of welfare, but it makes me no less of a good parent than someone who is able to be a stay at home parent

My biggest pet hate is noisy eaters, it seriously drives me mad When they pile food it, don't chew it properly and gulp it down like they've never eaten a meal before and never will again. Seriously, do they really think we want to see/hear that?!?!?

Can not stand attention seekers, especially people who tell lies to get attention, so don't like liars either.

Don't like when people are lazy, it really frustrates me and puts me off them as I believe we should all do our bit as responsible adults.

bad manners, especially when i hold the door open and never get a thank you grrrrrrr

people who dont pick up after their dogs

spitting - why? what is the point? its disgusting

littering

burping/farting out loud. hate it!

Bad manners (no thank-yous, please, sorry to of kept you waiting in shops etc, people using their phone when being served by someone etc)

People swearing and shouting at their children

People parking in mums and toddlers parking spaces

Lying / attention seeking

Cleaning the bath / peeling potatoes...)minor stupid things i know - but i really detest them)

People who ALWAYS think they are right

Littering

People who drive and talk on their mobile

Ooh there's so many! LOL

I don't think there is enough pages here on JP for me to put all my pet hates down?
However, i particularly hate bad manners like most of you. Not saying please/thankyou, talking on mobile while being served in a shop etc.

Like Becky, people parking in disabled/mother baby spots when they don't need them.

Lying

Ironing

People who look down their noses at you because they think they are smarter than you because you aren't in a highpowered job or don't have a lot of money.

Bullying

Now you see, the girls on the desk at work get this alot from people staying in the hotel. Whereby they think they can talk down to you / swear at you, ignore you, just because they are staying away on business or leisure. I mean of course we never stay away in a hotel or go away for aconference etc do we??

Thought of another one. People who have car seats in the back of their cars but the child sitting in the front seat

Oooh and another one - people who smoke in their cars with their kiddies in AND have the windows shut!!!

A Particular dislike of mine too, along with women smoking while pregnant! Xx

Where to begin! As Alex said in her first post, please do not take offence, these are my opinions.

Bad manners. There is absolutely no excuse for it.

People who try and tell me how to bring up my son, that I am a bad monther for working etc. Keep your nose out of my business. My son is well cared for and lacks for nothing. I work through choice and enjoy it. What makes you think that sitting at home makes you a better parent and your child happier than mine?!!!

Text speak. Unless you are using it on a mobile phone then it is just lazy. Pcs do come with spell checkers if you are unsure how to spell a word. It is also very annoying and should be banned.

People who find it impossible to punctuate a sentence/paragraph. This makes it almost impossible to read and again is just laziness.

Old people who stand waiting for the bus then once it arrives begin rummaging through all 75 bags and 200 pockets for their bus pass. GET THE DAMNED THING OUT BEFORE THE BUS ARRIVES!

I think that's all for now, although I'll probably think of more as the day goes on.

People who can't admit they're wrong, Arg! That just bugs me!

for some reason it took me a while to think of these. i agree with most of what has already been said.

people who play music loud in their car with children in

people who smoke while pushin prams/pushchair, espesh new babys, also when pregnant.

people not usin indicators (they are there for a reason and come as standard on all cars.....use them!

i had more but cant remember now.

And me, it's not because I don't want to be with Gem and I make up for it when she's home with me. If I could work from home I would. At the end of the day, the children respect parents who get off their backside and show them how to be responsible adults. I hope to become
a registered childminder this year so that I can work from home and be with my baby all the time, it's still contributing financially without living off benefits and I wish I could have done it before...

Anyway, my pet hates are-

People who push you out of a checkout with their trolleys when you are clearly not finished paying! This has happened to me recently too and the cashier gave the bloke a right row!

People who use the parent and mum-to-be spaces when they are neither and are too lazy and inconsiderate to park where they should!

People who smoke in front of their children, smoke when pregnant- no excuse!

Homophobics, racists, general prejudice.

Bad manners.

Boy Racers (or anyone else who thinks they own the road!) who go up your backside in the over-taking lane when you are clearly over-taking someone else without breaking the speed limit!

Abusers of anyone.
