Thought i would pop on and say Hi Wave . Been really busy, just not had the time to get on here LOL!

We are trying (and failing) to potty train George at the moment. We thought he was scared of the potty to begin with, now we know he's being a lazy boy Rolling Eyes We are giving it a week and then we may have to shelve the idea of him being nappy free for a while.

Charlotte is getting excited about her birthday already, and is begging me for a party, unfortunately funds are low still (I also had a load of fraud on one of my accounts which hasn't helped the situation), but as its her birthday over the half term we might take her to the cinema one evening that week instead.

Hope everyone is good Smile xxx

Hey Sarah!!!! I was gonna post something asking about you today! You must have sensed it!! Glad to see you on here again and I understand about being busy and broke!! I've hardly time to keep up here now that I'm working again, but I'm still broke Blink oh well, at least I can pay my rent now!! and some utilities!

Hope things settle down for you soon and Charlotte will have a great Birthday no matter what I bet ya!! Hug

edited to add Good luck with the potty training, it'll happen, boys seem to be tougher to train than girls Shrug

Hi Sarah, Sorry to hear things are still tough money wise ( i think most of us are in the same boat Sad ) Doesn't help having your account defrauded either Evil or Very Mad .
I agree with Tammy on the potty training thing hun, everybody i knoe said that boys are harder to train? I am dreading Jake, Lolly was hard enough! LOL In my experience, the only thing that worked was perseverance. I managed to train her during the hols when we didn't have to go anywhere. Although i knew she was perfectly ready and able to understand she was soooo stubborn. She wouldn't do it until she wanted too Rolling Eyes However after being as stubborn as her and carrying on with it we eventually got there. It was like she thought, 'mum isn't going to change her mind on this one, so i may as well go along with it? Plus once she had done it a couple of times and liked the reward (stickers) she was getting she got on in leaps and bounds! Good luck hun, Gearge will get there in the end. UNfortunately it will just be when he is good and ready! Xx

We've had three wees and a poo on the potty Clapping We have to catch him just before he wees/poos (he dances around bless him) and get him on the potty but he's getting on easier and enjoys the reward of a chocolate when he's done it. Hopefully its a positive step forward Smile
