Bogus Members first:-
Please be aware that members of this site can be monitored through what is known as an IP stamp. What this basically means is, we know if numerous members are signed up from the same PC, this is also how we trace your IP hosts and contact them if we have to. It's no use signing up with several accounts pretending to be several different people, we will find out, suspect accounts are often reported to us from the genuine members of this site, and to keep them safe from bogus accounts, we WILL ban you from this site and advise other parenting sites of you and your user names and IP stamp details.
Personally I think some folks that feel the need to sign up under false pretenses and try and hoodwink the genuine community into believing blatant lies and at the extreme end of the scale - Tragedies that have happened in their lives to gain sympathy from people that have a backbone and are willing to give emotional support, need professional help!
Just be aware, fraud is fraud no matter what the circumstances and we can take action if we feel the need to.
Spamming, Advertising, general rubbish...
This is also something we take seriously, if you wish to advertise your sites/businesses etc, DO NOT sign up and try and post past our censor system, the Mod team here are more than on the ball and posts will simply be removed. I would like to thank the community for pointing out potential spammers here, it makes out job to catch them a lot easier and faster.
DO NOT send private mails to people trying to poach to other sites, this is the most under handed tactic you can have for this, if people want to mosey on over then get in contact with our Admin team and ask permission to advertise, maybe we can advertise on your sites too.
People do not appreciate, or want spammers here, we are a family help community, friendly bunch of like minded people who like to ask for advice, not have it rammed into our faces with promotions to offers and other sites.
I think that covers all bases, so new members who maybe plan on hoodwinking or signing up to simply spam and annoy us...think twice, your Mod Squad will be on your case ( I am armed with the mighty Spammatron 6000 and am not afraid to use it )
