lastnight i was feeding DS1 as DS2 sat next to me on the sofa and went to have my other boob!! i told him no to which he got a little funny and didnt seem to understand why it was ok for DS2 but not him! I know there are people out there who feed their kids til they are like 4yrs old plus and then there are some that allow there kids to start again when new babies come into the family, but i never thought DS1 would attempt it! It shocked me to be honest! Has anyone else ever had this? How did you let the older sibling understand what baby is doing and why they cant! i just keep telling DS1 that DS2 is having 'dindins' in the hope he will understand that tiny babies feed off mummys!!

Awww, I would just keep explaining to him, Ethan is just a bit young yet to totally understand the whole concept bless him Love

Aaralyn asked me not to long ago why she can't have her milk from my boobies anymore Shocked right outta the blue she said it, so I had to re-explain to her why that was only for when she was a baby Rolling Eyes

my 4 year old is very interested but hasn't attempted that

ive never heard of re-starting older children once you've had a baby i was wondering if you could (although my 1st is much too old)

just explain that its all made special for the babies needs and that its not for him anymore
