I rang my lecturer and it seems i have enough points to enter my course of choice without applying for it. (its so hard to get in).I only have to do about 4 subjects as i have credits from all my study i did last year Clapping. My lecturer is also sending me three subject this year that i have to complete by Christmas Shocked then i should complete the rest by June 2008.
sooooooooo.................
I am going to go for my diploma in June/July next year specialising in mental health.I will then only have 2 years of university where i will get my degree(if i want to go that far).I am doing non-clinical (i don't have to administer meds).I have to do a placement next year for a few months.I will also be doing a placement in Woman's emergency shelters. I'm a bit anxious but its what i really want to do eventually.I cant believe that by the time Sam is at school i will be working as a mental health social worker or non clinical phycologist. Clapping

Tam i even shocked my self!!lol. I am setting little realistic goals each year and so far so good.I don't like darkness i always need to see the light at the end of the tunnel so i can stay focused.I just want to work hard and give my children a good start in life and show them that a little hard work pays off in the long run ,and to prove to my self that i can achieve anything i want Yes lol

What an inspiration you will be (are) to your LO's. They are very lucky to have such a fantastic mummy! Congratulations hun, it proves hard work does pay. I am looking to becoming a midwife when the kids are at nursery and hearing your story has made me think maybe i will be able to achieve this, before i thought it may be a bit of a pipe dream! Xx

That's so good and it's a subject close to my own heart as I spent 2 years doing various counselling and communication training with view to going into the mental health field. It all went on hold when I started my family but it's something I may go back into when my kids are all at school etc.
Well done
