look what happened in my local town where i grew up..

i was just watching this on the news. its awful. so sad

i used to go on that pier i remember when i was about 15 being told off by my mum cos she gave me some money to buy a friends birthday present and i gambled it all on the machines on the pier instead

ive never been there

but i hate to see piers burn down/close down - we should do more to protect them (lotto funding)

thats good that the owners want to restore the pier I hope they actually manage to achieve it

omg id not heard about this thats really bad

yeah the only thing is though how long is it going to take to rebuild? can the town survive without it whilst its being rebuild as that was the heart of the towns tourism industry and will t4 be willing to come back for another party on the beach?
