Where to go in the UK at the end August

Hi guys

Well our annual family holiday to Turkey has been cancelled (I'm not allowed to fly) so we're trying to find good places to take Jas in the UK for the last 2 weeks of August. She's 9 1/2 now and enjoys 'culture' as well as just chilling out.

I don't mind driving around and am happy to grab a hotel/B&B overnight if it's a distance to fun (if we can get in!) but wonder what you would recommend. She loves animals (Marwell is on the cards) and seaside (so Weymouth is booked with a hotel with a pool just in case) but I'd love some other suggestions.

I had some suggestions from folk at work about cottages, etc but they are all booked up now for August (naturally) and, to my surprise, flippin' expensive anyway! Scared

Looking forward to hearing your ideas Thumbs Up
