spotting during first 12 weeks

Hi

I have just entered my sixth week of pregnancy. Today when I was in toilet, I noted light spotting of blood(drops). Although, it didn't continue,I am very much worried as this is my first pregnancy and I am 30 yrs.
Please advise if it is OK to spot during first 3 months.

Hi hun, I was pregnant with my daughter at 33 yrs old and I had spotting about that time as well... I also had I guess what was an implantation bleed at the beginning, which I mistook for a period... the following month when my period would have been due, I had light spotting on and off for about a week. I was told that it wasn't anything to worry about unless it went on for a bit or got to be heavy bleeding.

edited to say that you should see if you can get an appointment with your Dr or MW just to check things out and ease your mind.

i had a slight bleed with my last baby at about the same time babe

and he now a lively 2 year old babe

as long as it spotting it fine if it gets heavy then ring ya dr or mw

Hey. This is my first pregnancy to and i have hade 2 bleedings and i have spoting on and off. My secound bleeding was abit big. Wen i did go to my scan to see if everything was ok they did say that it is normal to have bleedings in pregnancy and its many things that can do it. They did not see anything on my scan that coud make the bleeding. Bump is all fine. But if you want to make sure everything is fine call your MF or GP. They will help you.

i had quite a heavy bleed with my last and they just said it was a build up that needed to release a bit.
