Girlfriend Says She Doesn't Love Me - PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

My girlfriend and I have had an amazing relationship for just over a year now and fell in love with eachother. We were rock solid and then on a trip away, we found out she was pregnant. I was shocked but after I got over it, I was unbelievably happy and she seemed very happy too. She has been pregnant for around 11 weeks now and I have noticed that lately she doesnt seem to want to be around me and has lost the desire for any affection.

Then just yesterday she told me that she doesn't feel like she's in love with me anymore and that it has happened over the last few weeks.

I am absolutely gutted and do not know what to do. I couldn't bear it if she leaves me and takes the child. Please can someone offer any advice as I am so scared and I'd be lost without her.

hy hun..just sit and have a talk with her..tell her how you feel and how much u love her and the baby..might just b her hormones..hope u get this sorted hun

could be hormones babe i know i went off everything when i was preg sex love affection might be ok soon she might love u too bits butnot sure how to show it when she feeling the way she does babe

id both sit down and discuss why she feels that way, it could be shes scared to admit that shes worried about being pregnant, sometimes hormones can be play a part and shes feeling really mixed up at the moment.

I can only agree with what everyone else has said - talk to her, pregnancy does strange things to women sometimes x

She went back to her parents today. She seems very upset and confused. I tried talking to her but it didn't really get anywhere.

Her mum thinks it's hormones as she can't see how she was so in love with me just a few weeks ago and now she has changed her mind. The problem is that she's so scared that it's not the hormones that it's just upsetting her.

Has anyone ever heard of this kind thing happening before? I miss her so much ...

I remember when I fell on with my first. We weren't wanting a child at that point, I was only 19 at the time and felt far too young to be having children. I at one point even considered an abortion, although I didn't take it any further than discussing it with my OH, just him comforting me and telling me he would support me whatever decision I took, even though I knew he was against a termination, made me feel less insecure. I also remember the odd feeling of knowing that something was growing inside me that I had no control over, freaked me out a lot to begin with.
