Its raining, its pouring...

I'm sooo bored and so are the kids

The rain hasn't stopped today, yesterday we had thunder and hail stones

Mart is away for a long weekend and I'm missing him, so are the kids.

Wanted to take the kids to the park today but doesn't look like thats going to happen now. Made buns yesterday but now my oven is broke (it works...just doesn't turn off and gets hotter and hotter, so I have to make sure its off at the mains )

So much for it being summer eh!?

Hey hun - its bleddy miserable isnt it!! It poured down here yesterday, with thunder etc and is miserable today. I was supposed to be doing a village gala but have cancelled - even my gazebo wont stop the rain if it come down like it did yesterday! Now we're trying to decide what to do for the day! Roy is working 3pm-9.30pm so think we'll have a lazy day until then but then might go to our local softplay and let his nibs run off some steam - just worried it'll be heaving because of the rubbish weather.
We have a box with rainy day stuff in - craft and messy stuff and all sorts and we've gone through it most days this "summer" lol, am going to have to find some new bits! I hope you find something to gee you up x

I was thinking on taking the kids down to a soft play, they went to one for the first time last week and loved it - but I was in the same mind as you - it would be heaving becuase the weather is so rubbish.

i was hoping to go down to Kirstall Abbey with them and take the dog along, but I think the kids would be more miserable in this weather, also smelly wet dog isn't too enticing lol!

I cannot believe how rubbish the weather actualy is!

Trying to decide what to do with Georgie when she's home from Nursery after lunch! Original plan was a walk in the woods, collecting leaves to do collages but that is now out of the question!

Really looking forward to some 'me' time with her alone I feel really guilty as i've been rota'd so many late shifts in the last couple of months meaning i see her when i get her up for school; and then only see her for an hour and half when she gets home before i go to work and it's the same all this week...

I hope she doesn;t think i am a bad mummy....

its been horrendous all weekend and is suppose to be wet all week too.

i have to agree with rich i hate hot weather.
+ im in a second floor flat so cant get out lol would be really cheesed off if it was sunny and i couldnt get charly out lol.

I must admit that the first few days of rain after our Holiday in Greece of 45 degrees everyday - but i'd love to sit in my garden with the girls and the dogs...

i cant wait to get a garden so charly can have a paddling pool etc.. and so my annoying cats can go out lol they're driving me nuts hehe

i hate hot weather too but just wish it would stay dry
