I am fostering an animal tonight

I have a pet ferret called Apollo and a while back I mated him with one of my Dad's ferrets. Their babies were born sixe weeks ago (6 of them-4 boys, 2 girls). My Dad has gone away for a couple of days so his dogs and ferrets need lookiong after. My friend/ upstairs neighbour who is also my dad's girl friend (I introduced them) went round earlier to see to the animals and one of the baby ferrets had injured it's leg so now I am looking after it here in my spare cage. I've been feeding him milk out of a spoon and mashed up some meat. They don't normally leave their mums for another couple of weeks but the others were trampoling over it and it needs feeding up and some rest. He's sleeping now.

How did the night go with him?? How's he holding up??

He has been doing really well. He has had the food and drink I've given him and he has begun to put alittle weight back onto his bad foot and curled his toes around the end of my finger. So decided to take him back to his mum and hope he gets on ok. If not he can come back here again but I think he'll be ok.
