Saying bye bye to a 10 inch ponytail!

Tomorrow, between Aaralyn, Amber and me, about 23 inches of hair will be cut!!

10 inches each from Aaralyn and I and Amber is getting her hair cut as well (prob about 3 inches) then she's going to grow hers out and donate it next time

So, will take some before and after pics Mine's gonna be really short this time

I had hair down to my bum when I was at school and the day after I left i had it cut up to my shoulders I was hardbroken at the time but quickly realised it was the best thing- It was easier and quicker to wash, dry and brush and I could do more with it. Now mine is kept about shoulder length.

it must be the time for it. i had my hair chopped yesterday, about 7-8 inches id say.

would say ill put some pics up but i just dont do photos.

I'm actually really excited... Mike is not... LOL but I think he'll like it once he sees it... he just doesn't want any of us girls to get our hair cut

Ummm only if you are a child with alopetia (sp??) or some other chronic hair loss disorder... it takes 6 pony tails to make one wig for donation and, you already have very pretty hair!

Bunnigirl, mine was down to the top of my butt for a really long time and then when I finally decided to get it cut and donate it for the first time, I got 18 inches cut off... and I LOVED it, it felt so good to not have all that hair LOL.... once I made the committment to growing it and then cutting it for donation, it's easier each time I get it cut! I am lucky that my hair grows really fast... the only problem is, once it starts going gray I won't be able to donate to Locks of Love but the Pantene program for woman who are in chemo and want wigs takes gray hair and they only require 8 inches... I just like that it's going for a kid for now

and! hair is known to grow way faster in the summer time so now's the time to do it!! (well mine seems to grow faster in the summer anyway, don't know if it's scientific fact or not )

dont know if shes got enough but i think well keep this in mind when she does though, she needs to have a certain amount to be able to put up for majorettes, they need to have it in a bun. but well deffo keep this idea and well do it when we can.#

My hair is long again, but I'm not quite sure I've got 10" yet unless I have it really short again.

I've bookmarked the address though as I always feel its such a waste when its chopped off.
